  • your IP address;
  • the browser type and operating system used;
  • the pages viewed as well as the date and time of the visit;
  • the site or page that referred you to our site.

This information is used to ensure the proper operation and security of the site. It is not used to identify you personally.

4. Why we collect this information

We collect your personal information solely for the following purposes:

  • to respond to your quote requests and send you an estimate;

6. Disclosure of your information to third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Certain technical service providers do, however, have access to it to the extent necessary for their mandate:

These providers are authorized to use your information only to deliver the services described above.

7. Retention period and destruction

Information submitted as part of a quote request is kept for a maximum period of 12 months following your request, unless a contract is signed or the law requires a longer retention period.

At the end of that period, the information is securely destroyed: the corresponding emails and files are deleted from our systems.

8. Security measures

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure, including:

  • encryption of data in transit between your browser and our site (HTTPS);
  • restricted access to the information, limited to the people who need it to process your request;
  • deletion of the information once it no longer needs to be kept.

No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, however. Should a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm occur, we would notify the individuals concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, as required by law.
